I am building my business making money online with affiliate & digital marketing. My friends call me Bono, that is where Bono The Affiliate was born. I am just a regular hard working blue collar guy from Australia who now creates an extra income online. Anyone can do it with the right training and it is my mission to help others achieve the same.

Having the freedom to travel and do the things you really want to do is very powerful. having the money to be able to stop saying no to things you really want to do is well it's an amazing feeling. This is what I love, the beach and being able to travel to wherever I want when I want.

Earning an extra income gives you that time and financial freedom to do the things that make you feel happy.

Why I Started an Affiliate Marketing Business

I have been a diesel mechanic for over 20 years. I now work in railway maintenance, which is hard yakka. Working on all types of heavy vehicles, while it was a job that interested me I knew there was something else I needed to be doing. It is a very dirty and at times dangerous job. As you can see by the pic, somedays I would end up looking like a coal miner. I have also had 5 hand surgeries for everything from cut tendons to pieces of steel in me.

Working in a very physical and non hospitable environment, the pilbara region in north Western Australia. During summer, the temperature hovers around the mid to high 40's! Being in such an environment day in day out takes a toll on you, not just physically but mentally. So I decided it was time for something new, so that is what I did, I invested in myself and took an online course that teaches you to make money online.

Why Not Now?

I will admit have tried digital marketing in the past and it was really hard. Ten years ago I really struggled to make a go of it, due to several reasons and just quit.

First of all, the social media scene was very different back then. Facebook was the only real platform that most people were on and they didn't allow certain products to be advertised on their program.

There were, and still are a lot of unscrupulous vendors out there who would charge vast amounts of money for inferior training courses (and yes I have paid $1000's for poor products in the past). These courses promised the world and delivered an atlas! Don't get me wrong, there still are those kinds of programs out there but you just have to find the right ones. Just to clarify, a good training program will not be free. There will always be a cost when you are building any kind of business. You just need to spend your money wisely.

This was not going to deter me! I was not going to give up on my dream to succeed. So, I recently decided to do some research and found the program I just went through. It is completely different to all of the others. This program shows you in-depth how to do the marketing. Which is seriously lacking in every other program I have come across. Anyone can teach you how to build a website or social media page. Now in 2023, it is a completely different ball game. Social media is huge and getting bigger every day in terms of users and user engagement. What you really need is to know how to get it in front of more eyes, and eyes that actually are interested in what you are offering. Don't let negative comments or naysayers win. Just ignore them; you don't need that sort of negativity in your life. There is a saying.. "those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind" Remember that always!
